What it is.
Preventative oral care appointments occur every six months and include a cleaning, exam and any needed x-rays.

Why we do it.
Our goal, first and foremost, is to ensure your child’s complete oral health. Regular visits every six months allow us to monitor growth and development, help prevent tooth decay or detect tooth decay before it causes pain, and maintain good overall health. We are also developing a relationship with your child that will help to prevent anxiety and, in the long run, lead to better overall health.

What to expect.
Preventative care appointments generally last 40 minutes.  If we find that further treatment is needed following preventative care, Little Smiles provides all the services your child may need to restore their teeth to good health. Our team will discuss what treatment options are the best for your child’s needs and will gladly answer any questions you have regarding any recommendations made.
